Our Story
Fun loving, recently married, and a bit of a nerd, Pablo is the director and owner of El Ancla Wedding FIlms.
He got into video because of the desire to tell stories, helping different NGO’s with video production. Eventually he started filming his friends weddings, and when friends of friends started asking him to film their wedding and he saw how much he liked doing it, the idea to start El Ancla Wedding Films came to life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU? Most couples are booking from 8 months to a year in advance, but I alaways advice couples to book the sooner the better so we don’t book another couple in your day. But don’t get descouraged if your wedding is coming up, send us your info and we might have your day open!
CAN WE CHOOSE THE MUSIC? All the music we use in your films MUST be licensed. I can send you the website that I use to liscence music and I am sure we can find something together that you will love.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS? We absolutely love to travel and would be honored to travel for your wedding! The sooner you contact us the easier would be for us to figure out all the planning arrengements. There is an extra cost but send us an email and I am sure we can figure everything out and plan an epic wedding video for you!
WILL WE GET THE RAW FOOTAGE? Usually I film around 50 gigabytes of footage per wedding. That means that it’s a lot of hard drive space! Plus what the RAW footage looks very different than what you see in the final video. Saying all that if you absolutely need the RAW footage we can figure something out.
DO YOU FILM ELOPMENTS? I absolutely love Elopments! Because of Covid-19 Eloping is an excellent way to get married. Plus Costa Rica has some beautiful places for your Elopment. If you are planning an elopment let us know how we can help you.
DO YOU FILM OTHER KIND OF VIDEOS? Yes! Before starting El Ancla Wedding Films I was working with an NGO as a filmaker. Currenty I work with a few companies and brands helping them tell their story in a creative way. Check out this LINK to see some of my other work!
